ESR 07 - Kimmo Niskanen
Short biography
Kimmo Niskanen received his Master's Degree in Material Chemistry from the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. Since then he's completed supplementary studies in Physics and Electronics, he's been involved in teaching assistanship for courses on electronics and has worked with total ionizing dose (TID) effects on electronic components at RADEF facility at the University of Jyväskylä.
Why did you apply for a RADSAGA position?
Due to my experience in hands-on approach in electronics and interest in physics, RADSAGA semmed to be the perfect opportunity to continue my journey along that path.
What are your future goals? How will RADSAGA help you fulfill them?
My first goal is to gain full understanding of radiation induced effects in electronic components. The next goal will be to get a research position in academy or space industry.
