RADSAGA project went through the Mid-Term Review
18 Months after the official kick-off of the RADSAGA project, the European Commission held a Mid-Term Review during the Saint Etienne Summer School on Tuesday September 11th.
Despite some unexpected major force issues, the MTR saw the presence of all the beneficiaries representatives and of most of the partners. This event was held at Laboratoire Henri Curien, part of the University of Saint Etienne, France. The agenda can be found here. After a brief introduction from the European Commission Officer, Mrs. Ioanna Peppa, and by the technical reviewer, Dr. Vohangivola Abri, the mic was given to the RADSAGA beneficiaries and partners who explained their role in the RADSAGA consortium and detailed their contribution to the growth of the ESRs.
Main Project Coordinator, Dr. Rubén Garcìa Alìa, then provided an insight on project organization with a main focus on Work Packages structure, contents and current and future achievements. The floow was then left to the main project contributors, i.e. the Early Stage Researchers. In rigorous increasing order, they gave a presentation mainly focused at highlighting their background, their role within RADSAGA, their research approach, their planned secondment, their currently completed trainings, their outreach, dissemination and networking activities, the benefits their research will have on society and the impact the program is having on them as scientists.
Restricted sessions with the students and, afterwards, with partners and beneficiaries were also held to get feedback and suggest improvements to the program. A Supervisory Board meeting was also held on Wednesday September 12th in the morning to furtherly discuss new topics relevant for the fulfillment of the project.
