European Researchers' Night at the University of Jyväskylä

Friday September 27 was the European Researchers' Night and the University of Jyväskylä opened its doors to people from the region with a curiosity for science. About 2180 visitors accessed the accelerator laboratory and over 14000 the entire university during the day. Multiple physics demonstrations and material were displayed to the public. At RADEF (Radiation Effects Facility) the RADSAGA ESRs and supervisors demonstrated the use of a SEU (Single Event Upset) monitor, of a small-size model of a cyclotron and of Total Ionizing Dose on a glass. Furthermore the RADSAGA rollup was shown to the public to promote the advancement of the project.
