This deliverable presents a review on modelling techniques and tools for radiation effects on electronics provided by ESR9 and ESR10, in the scope of the RADSAGA WP2. The stochastic nature of particle interaction processes is a perfect fit for Monte Carlo (MC) computational methods.

Accordingly, a variety of MC codes have been developed to study the particle transport in silicon and its consequent effect to the circuit functionality. In the next session, a brief discussion on radiation effects modelling and available tools will be presented.
